Agreeing to these terms
These terms apply to towing, recovery and roadside services provided by Iowa Falls Towing & Recovery. Requesting service means accepting them.
Requesting service
Service can be requested by phone, through the form on this site, or by message. A request is only confirmed once we have spoken with you and agreed the job — a submitted form on its own is not a dispatched truck.
You confirm that you are the owner of the vehicle or are authorised to arrange its removal.
Response times
Any time estimate given is a genuine estimate, not a guarantee. Weather, road conditions, traffic and how many calls are already running all affect it. Winter storms in particular produce long queues, and we will tell you honestly where you sit in one.
Pricing and payment
Charges depend on distance, vehicle type, and what the recovery involves. We will discuss the cost before work begins wherever circumstances allow. Payment is due on completion unless something else has been agreed in advance.
Your vehicle and its contents
Take personal belongings, documents and valuables with you where you can. Items left in a vehicle remain your responsibility.
Tell us up front about anything unusual — modifications, low clearance, a disabled drivetrain, aftermarket suspension, or a non-standard recovery point. Damage that results from information not disclosed to us is not something we can accept liability for.
Recovery work
Recovery from ditches, mud, snow and soft ground carries risk that ordinary towing does not. We work from rated recovery points and take the time to do it in the way least likely to cause damage. Where a vehicle is already damaged, unstable, or in a position that makes clean recovery impossible, we will explain the risk before starting.
Storage
Where a vehicle is stored at your request or at the direction of law enforcement, storage charges may apply from the day it arrives. Release requires proof of ownership or written authorisation, and settlement of outstanding charges.
Cancellation
Let us know as early as you can if you no longer need the truck. A call-out charge may apply where a truck has already been dispatched and has travelled to you.
Limitation of liability
Our liability is limited to the direct cost of repairing damage caused by our negligence during the job. We are not liable for consequential losses such as missed appointments, lost earnings, alternative transport or rebooking costs.
